This is the living museum of bebop. If you want to here live bebop played by outstanding musicians there is no better place in town...and...I'll venture...in Manhattan either. Brooklyn...idk...never been there.

Awesome neighborhood Jazz joint. Some locals and others passing through town. So so important and fun to support one of the few remaining Jazz venues in the city. Almost like stepping back into a different era!

I heard some wonderful music being played, so I hopped in and took a seat inside Colovia Station. I had a coffee cup that I set down. About two minutes later the waitress comes up to me and picks up my coffee and acts like she's taking it away from me, all while saying "you can't have this here". I apologized and said I was just stopping in to see the music. She gave me a menu and then proceeded to tell me I had to pay 10 dollars or else I had to leave. So, I understand companies needing business for people sitting in their seats, but this lady was condescending about it and saying rude things like "oh, are you going to cry?" And "you need to get out" before giving me a chance to even think about ordering food. If you want business from people, why don't you charge 5 dollars to see the band, or at least offer time to think about ordering? Thanks

The music was nice, but the food was absolutely terrible. My burger was inedible and the waitstaff didn't understand why I didn't want it.

Reliable establishment for good live jazz & blues. Columbia Station is iconic on 18th street - their unadulterated presence breathes life into the streets. Warm atmosphere with a welcoming hostess, and no cover. We usually just order drinks here because food service can be slow. Stay however long you want - you won't be disappointed with the show!
