I found this restaurant in the petworth news online. I had the Peruvian chicken, found it to be moist a seasoned very well. My other dish was the pasta with shrimp and scallops, it was so flavorful and the portion was great. Will go back soon.

This place has some of the best Salvadorian food ever. Simple and so tasty. I always go for the Carne Deshilada (shredded meat). The rice and beans are flavorful and perfect serving size. The place doesn't always smell great inside so I order to go. Problem solved.

I like pupusas a lot and this place is good. It's small restaurant and very authentic. The waitresses are friendly and enthusiastic. Great price for the quality!! There is outdoor sitting which makes it much nicer.

We love El torogoz for sure. The inside is just a little tight and lacks the comfy feeling of Haydees over in Mt. Pleasant but the food is terrific and the service is always good. Definitely a great place to eat outside when the weather is nice, and one of the few places in Petworth with good outside seating. Definitely try the nachos El torogoz but go for the steak instead of the chicken. And my kids love the taquitos.
