We are here on a Friday night-no wait and super low key. They had a good variety of cocktails and they were all tasty. We shared a bunch of apps and then ordered some mains too. Everything was well done with good flavor. Fries were crispy. Salads were fresh and crisp. The ravioli was creamy and decadent.
Popular for lunch and a quick drink among the workers nearby, Commonwealth is one of my favorite spots for lunch in Cambridge. Topped with sweet chili coleslaw, their fried chicken sandwich made with chicken thigh is truly a S-tier quality. However, when I recently took a visit for dinner, I was disappointed with the overall quality of the food. Their dinner menus come in huge portions, but felt more like a typical American pub food with a little twist. Only thing that I liked was the grilled pork ribs, and other dishes were only slight upgrades from regular pub foods. Highly recommend coming here for the fried chicken sandwich, but beware that dinner might be a bit disappointing if you come in with the same expectations.
Lovely restaurant in Cambridge within walking distance from our hotel. It's located near other restaurants, shops, and the water. At best, this seems like an excellent restaurant for someone on a diet to splurge once a week. Having been vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian, the menu was minimal. The food reminded me of the stereotype you hear when “healthy food has little taste.” The best food item we ordered were the Shishitos. I would frequent here just to order them. Our server was accommodating and knowledgeable. You can tell this is a hotspot for young professionals because the outdoor seating was already reserved before dinner, and it quickly filled soon after we arrived.
I went in as a table of one while I was in town on business trip, and it was delicious. The entrees were enormous, so I’d advise under ordering, but I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. The food was only surpassed by the service.
We were here for a wedding. It made a great venue, the food was delicious and they served some signature cocktails for the bride and groom as well as a good selection of everything else. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Also - they had fun glasses for some drinks!
I got a delicious fried chicken sandwich here. It can be a little confusing to find stuff, but it’s worth it for the funky charm, especially with the very nice staff. Also I ate at 3 PM so the quality doesn’t drop off during strange hours
This restaurant is a fresh take. First time experience was a little altered by COVID, but they did a great job. I can imagine normal operations being even better. Drinks, food and prices were not that bad. Salad was lackluster - but they made up for it with attentive and friendly staff. They add 5% to the bill to support a better living wage for wait staff too, which is nice.
Visited this bar for an event. Overall, the food was good especially, chicken bacon ranch flatbread pizza and Buffalo chicken wings, the service was also good we had a few staff members tending our group, the atmosphere was relaxingFood: 5/5
We had a delicious dinner here and then service was great! Andy's pork had a ton of flavor and was very tender but the winner was the Koji fried chicken! It was amazing. I've never had a fried chicken that juicy and tasty! As a super plus the pumpkin bread that it came with was awesome too.
An absolutely phenomenal and seasonal menu / friendly and endlessly accommodating staff / great indoor-outdoor seating options / this is a stand out restaurant in this city / do not miss
