I've been stopping by Compass Coffee on my way to work as it's directly on my route. Really the only rhyme or reason I chose it over the multitude of cutesy coffee houses was convenience. However, their rapid and exact service has cemented my patronage. The coffee has been good, the maple latte is particularly delicious and their Americanos are sublime. Still nothing to whip out my phone and land a review...except this morning...I decided to treat myself for my birthday and spring for the little lemon cake....and what a treat indeed....as a connoisseur of lemon loafs...I can say I have arrived....the frosting is a bed of decadence housing a mouthwatering, moist sponge of succulent sweet cake. The perfect balance of sharp lemon and saccharine. I think my week may have just peaked.
I ordered two pumpkin spice latte for me and my co-worker. I don’t know what’s in the latte I don’t think it’s pumpkin cuz it doesn’t taste like one.I won’t recommend for anybody to try the pumpkin spice latte or coffee. This is my second time ordering from compass and they got the worst coffee.
I got the almond butter latte with oat milk would highly recommend. I also loved the 90s r&b playlist they had playing while I was there.
Very okay coffee shop. It’s cute… plenty of seating with a light decorative vibe. But the pastries and drinks are just okay. Nothing special. My beef was the last couple mornings, the staff was just kinda rude. As a visitor staying nearby, I wasn’t impressed.
Great DC chain for coffee and snacks. Traditional coffee offerings with some fun additions like Mint Cold Brew. This location is across the street from the McPherson Square Metro Exit. Recommended for grabbing coffee when commuting or touring the city, fairly busy and not much seating available for working.
Really good coffee at a decent price. They had plenty of options too. I got a regular single shot of espresso with a plain croissant. The croissant was huge and the espresso was delicious. They also had a nice variety of teas. The seating they have is limited and not the most comfortable, I don't think I would get a coffee to stay to read a book. But I went because I wanted good coffee and that's exactly what I got.
Place are so open and cool Coffee was excellent We order flat white and black coffee If I visit WashingtonDC again for sure will visit this place again. love to spend some time in a local coffee shop. The smell of freshly brewed coffee, the sound of people catching up with friends, and the taste of a specialty blend bring me pure joy. To find a great coffee shop to go to, I often look to the reviews Local Guides. Very good staff
Fast service, great coffee. Love stopping by this location as it’s extremely modern and offers plenty of space and seating, overlooking Franklin Square. My beverage of choice is cold-brew with chocolate flavoring.
DC local coffee shop chain. The coffee is excellent and has a distinct taste if you are accustomed to Starbucks. I prefer the coffee here. The service with quick and kind. The music is noticeable pop not background music. The atmosphere is light, but I wouldn’t come here to study or work again because the seating and tables aren’t conducive to it. They do have free WiFi inquire at the register for a password. Well worth stopping by.
My new favorite coffee place! Delicious and flavorful coffee, nice well-lit space, and always quick and friendly service. The turmeric honey latte is my go-to!
