Just got a nice craft beer before the start of a tiger game. Friendly bar tender and fast service. Nice sized craft and standard beer menu. Low top, booth and bar seating. I liked the environment that made it feel like you were at a pub and not inside a baseball park. Pricey but I would return.
Best place to get an actual good beer at the ballpark, but you will still pay ballpark prices. Great variety though.
Great beer, incredibly slow kitchen. Not worth the time. Took 3 innings to make a sandwich.
Sat for 10 minutes before we got served. Waitress said there was no mountain dew?? Asked her about the menu, she said "I dont know, I'm new, whatever sounds good is what you should order" Obviously we left. Got better service at the walk up counters in the stadium.
One of the worst service experiences we've ever had at a sporting event and/or restaurant bar. We came in for a 7:10 game at 5:45 and had to go to the bar to order food 45 minutes later because we could not locate our waitress! When we put in our food order pretzel bites and footlong chili dog we waited another 40 minutes, and I requested to cancel the food order because the game was starting. They delivered our food almost immediately after my request. There is definitely a lack of communication or structure at this restaurant. The game keep in kind was at best half full! We purposely came in early to enjoy a pre game meal and drinks but had to wait almost 90 minutes for "1" drink and what should be very quick food items is beyond unacceptable. They either need to restructure or close because on a slow September meaningless half full game night they could barely provide service. We also witnessed several people walk out as no one waited on them. Just poor service and very disappointed, I hope the stadium does something to improve for 2018.
First time at Commerica Park. Decided to have lunch at the Tap Room. Staff was friendly. We had chicken strips with fries and pretzel bites. Food was great. Portions were a good size. And the food was delicious. Waitress was friendly and not pushy. Gave ya time to read the menu and decide. Would deffinantly eat there again
Food was okay, the service was good.Ridiculous pricing...$73.00 for two beer, one lemonade, one soda ,three hamburgers & two small fries. Water served in wax paper cups, food served on paper plates with plastic silverware. I get this is attached to a baseball park, but come on already with the ridiculous pricing. I can't say I'd ever come back unless there was significant changes.
The music is really loud. Not for those that want to have a conversation. But awesome music and a very entertaining environment! Kid-friendliness: Children were dancing on the stage with the D.J. inside the bar. It was pretty cool!
Can access it from inside Tiger stadium. Several kinds of sandwiches, beers and nonalcoholic beverages. Service was prompt without being pushy. Food was warm and tastefully seasoned. Prices were not extravagant for being inside a stadium.
Waited forever for someone to notice us. Top of the third inning and the waitress said that it was shift change? Really? How? I had to get up and aak for service... not the service I expected. Shame on Comerica Park for their practices.
