Great place for shells and wildlife. Saw a deer, 2 fox, a snake, turtles and frogs. Bugs were bad but that is expected this time of the year. Calm, relaxing and not crowded.

Awful. Went with husband and dog for a walk yesterday. As you swat mosquitoes, ticks climb on. Terribly infested, pulled at least 12 ticks off of 3 of us. I recommend you avoid area unless fishing.

This is a beautiful secret and special spot. It’s nice to lay out here in May or explore in February winter time. Summer is hot and beautiful.

Great place to visit or walk the trail. It has a boat ramp and there is a fee to launch during the busy season. You can fish from the bridge or the beach. Often in the summer time the parking lot is full so you have to park next to the road. They have portapotteis during the busy season but I think they remove them in the winter.

Love this park. Ample free parking for visitors. It has a boat launch with trailer parking. Summer offers good fishing from the banks, bridge, boat or wading! Ron Tracy, author Flounder Bytes.
