This is the first time that we've been to Cape May for something other than boat business and it was truly peaceful. Makes you really forget that you're in New Jersey not saying anything bad about my great state but it is a kind of tripped into a different world. Clean quiet peaceful no yelling and screaming people on the beach like I said truly peaceful and enjoyable

3/23/2018 - Great place for family and nature lovers. Raised walking paths made out of composite decking allow access to terrain that is normally difficult to get to. Commonly seen wildlife along the trails are: swans, ducks, osprey (often hunting over lake), and many other birds. I have also seen at least once in the area animals like muskrats, frogs, snakes (small, non-venomous). Plenty of parking during the off-season. Busy in the summer. Also, there is beach access, a small museum, Bar-b-ques, and of course the lighthouse. Just down the road is Sunset Beach with what remains of the sunken concrete ship.

It was class trip and I loved it. Mainly because we saw dolphins and a lot of horse shoes crabs. Walking on the beach keeps you occupied and there are a lot of pretty sea shells.

Beautiful park and lighthouse. A must see while in Cape May. Take a trip to the top of lighthouse. Fun experience for the entire family.

Well kept site. There are no trash cans. You take your trash out wth you. There are rest rooms, information area with small display of lical mammals (not alive). There's birdwatching deck and trail. Of course, the lighthouse is the focal point.
