A great walking/hiking area with lots of small wildlife. We saw beaver dams, bird nests, and all kinds of paw prints. This is a carry in carry out park. There are no trash cans. Please bring a bag for your trash. You can bring your dogs as long as they are leashed too!

Really nice place to take your best 4 legged friend so he/she can run around and get it all out.

No bathrooms. Great walk. Could use better markers for trails but really you can sort of choose your own adventure and shorten or extend the walk as you see fit. There is a few places that enable you to cut through to the other legs of the trails. It is about 2.5 to 3 miles depending on how you traverse it. Could probably cut it to 2 miles if you skip some legs. I haven’t tried that short yet. Nice time of year to take a stroll as it is paved and the fall colors are in full swing! Park on the far right of the lot as you enter and enjoy!

3 people walking in into the woods at dark and freezing cold and windy around 730. No apparent purpose unless they were cutting through to go to there home back there. A couple people walking there dog. We were using the walking trail for exercise. Lots of down trees branches etc that some near the entrance have been cut. Small pieces remain. Apparently for firewood, not sure.

Huge park-previously Maple Ridge18-hole golf course-but cart paths remain. Warning-you can easily get lost so keep close track or get an old golf course map. Park has lots of long hills so pace yourself. Can take your dog on a minimum 6 ft leash. Pond/creek that's fair for fishing, great for birders and is home to a blue heron. No restrooms or food. Sufficient free parking.
