Cove Fort Historic Site

The facilities are excellent! There is a very peaceful and calm feeling at the fort. The fort is more than the volcanic walls of the fort. Each of the 12 rooms has artifacts of the time and era that describes a devoted and obedient family that typifies service and charity of an early pioneer family. Well worth the visit.

A perfect side trip from an I-15 drive! Stretch your legs and have a docent lead you through this gold mine of Utah historical value. Also a valuable Hinckley family history. Worth the hour or so break! Very clean restrooms.

Sister Jackson took us on a tour yesterday and it was so cool!! She was so nice to my kids and very informative. What a neat history this place has. We stopped on our way to st George with our 13, 8 & 3 year old and they all enjoyed it. We were sad the barn wasn’t open yet but we will definitely stop again!

It is a great historic site. A wonderful place to take a break and walk around especially with my young kids. We had a picnic in a well kept lawn with clean tables. Missionaries are very friendly.

A lovely stop along I-15. The grounds are perfectly groomed with flowers blooming and a shaded picnic area. Our tour of the fort was interesting and fun! Definitely worth the stop!!
