Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Great food! The pinto beans however didn't taste so good. Fairly decent prices for most of the menu. Down side: Dimly lit, those visually impaired will have harder time reading menu - I do every time. (Reason for 4 stars) Also you must go through store area (which is somewhat cluttered) to get to restaurant. A person in a wheelchair may have some difficulties maneuvering aisles of store.

Normally I have an excellent time at Cracker Barrel: great food, great service. Not this time. We came here for a small family dinner, and my girlfriend ordered her dinner without cheese sauce, to eliminate some of the calories. The waitress tells us that the food comes with it, that it can’t be changed. I call for the manager to see if he can’t help us with it, and he tells us the sauce is the best part, that the dinner does come with it, but he’ll check for us. I expect the pressure of being busy to come out sometimes, but not this bad from a business that prides themselves on their service. Worst we’ve ever been treated at a restaurant.

Always fast and friendly service. And food it always comes out hot and fresh. They will go above and beyond to make sure you're happy. Plus plenty of good shopping while you wait for your seat.

Got the feeling eating alone at a 4 top at dinner time is a no no, 1 drink served never offered a refill, salad served at the same time ribeye and baked potato came out. Was asked to check steak as I was putting salad in my mouth. As I ate the 3rd bite was handed my check and told " no rush" Needless to say I would have understood if it was waffle house. But I can spend 20 dollars for a slim steak anywhere

Always a delightful experience everytime I've visited here. Great food excellent service. Busy at times but I've personally never had to wait to be seated.
