i must say, first of all the psychiatry is great there. however, i have had a tremendously difficult time just getting a refill on my medication that I ran out of. They said my provider would call it in yesterday, and it hasn’t been called in. I have only had good experiences with the provider herself, but her nurse Shauna idk how it’s spelled has been incredibly rude to me. Undermining me and blatantly ignoring my needs.

December 5th 2022, 9:am all the staff are friendly but the lady in front desk was rude, even the security was friendly, I tried to complain about her but she said that everyone had left that the only ones who were there were the doctors with patients

Horrible experience. I've been trying to get my teeth cleaned for 6 months. The first time I went for the appointment they told me they had canceled it because I didn't call them and confirm it which I did. The second time I went they were backed up by three people so I was looking at at least an hour and a half to two hour wait so I volunteered to give up my spot to help them catch up and they promise me that they would contact me during their next cancellation to get me in. They were super thankful that I did that but not that thankful because they never called me back. Finally after waiting for a call for over a month I called them and got an appointment for three months later. Today I went to that appointment and waited for 50 minutes and decided to walk out. I was the only one in the waiting room for the whole hour that I sat there. There was a dentist located on the block that I live at. He will be getting my business from now on. I literally called them and booked an appointment for 2 days from now. Call crescent Care and book an appointment their closest ones are in August. Absolutely ridiculous. They've wasted 6 months of my time and I still don't have my teeth cleaned. Bye Felicia!

If you need a dentist a doctor or any of the other services this building provides you will be treated great from making the appointment over the phone to your first visit. The entire staff from the front desk ladies to the dental hygienist and dentist and all in between will make your dental visit comfortable. Happy friendly helpful staff. Very clean from the time you park till your in the dentist chair every inch of this building is spotless. They have a security guard on duty incase any problems my arise. The have sexual health mental health woman's health everyone is welcomed any insurance or no insurance no long waits for an appointments. Got an emergency no worries everyday they have hours set aside for just emergencies and no matter what they always do what they can to get you seen asap. The view from the 5th floor of the entire city is beautiful as u wait in the waiting room every private room has another breathtaking view of the city the chair you sit in is shower comfortable prices are so great and reasonable for everyone in your family to recieve care

Everyone there is AMAZING, at least all the ones that I've come in contact with!!!! Dr. Van Sickels and his nurse Dionne are AMAZING & AWESOME!!! Such a valuable asset to the GLBTQIA and HIV community!!!

Came for the NOLA Bound binder exchange. Sign at the front said to check in for appointments so I assumed that’s where I had to go. I asked the lady at the desk what I needed to do and what I was there for and she had literally no idea what I was talking about and didn’t know where I needed to go in the building? I always have to text staff because no one around me ever knows what’s going on.

The most rude and unprofessional people. The front desk staff doesn’t pay any attention to anything. They always have the nastiest attitudes. My visit today consisted of only labs and after waiting an hour and 15 minutes without being seen I had to cancel. People came in before and after me and were seen before I was even noticed.. I don’t even want to reschedule here. It’s always something with this place! Rude, unprofessional, ghetto, and definitely will not be recommending this place to anyone anymore.

Honestly the people leaving negative reviews of CrescentCare are the epitome of ungrateful and entitled. I have had the PRIVILEGE of being cared for here for several years and it is honestly such a relief from the other sliding scale services that were available to low income folks in this city. The doctors and dentists are knowledgable and caring, not only is the service affordable or free but it is word class. I’ve never once had a complaint here and I have had many appointments. Someone complained of double booking and suggested it was “to make money”- ridiculous! CrescentCare is a non profit and the entitlement of some people is frankly astounding. Best healthcare provider I’ve ever had!

Edit: someone is always hanging up! I can’t even set an appointment. I called to see if I could move my appointment up. The receptionist was bothered in some way because I didn’t want to discuss my private concerns with him. “Well how can I help you if I don’t know what’s going on but go head” An extremely insensitive and unprofessional comment. I haven’t been, but I hope the other staff treat people with more patience.

Double book appointments. 10:10 appointment, earliest appointment possible 8:40, already an hour behind because of double booking. A new level of inconsiderate to assume we have all day to wait. Why double book? Except to make money. Healthcare is not the focus of this clinic, money is, just like every other place
