The second-oldest medical school in the Deep South and the 15th oldest medical school in the United States, Tulane School of Medicine is equipping the next generation of medical professionals with the tools to succeed in a rapidly changing world and shape the future of health care.
Our educational mission is to teach our residents, fellows, and medical students in all aspects of the musculoskeletal system. We have a fully accredited 5 year Orthopaedic Residency. We teach our Tulane University Medical Students and sports medicine fellows. Our doctors teach other doctors all over the world. We make presentations of our orthopaedic experience at regional, national, and international orthopaedic meetings.
As part of our mission, we conduct clinical and basic research to advance the knowledge of the musculoskeletal system. Our results are published in a wide range of medical journals.
