Fair disclosure. I tried giving these people a chance to respond via a private complaint, with no response. Last night at zoo lights. Was first very curtly told the stand would open in ten minutes, I thought that was fine, went back to a table and waited. Watching the stand the whole time and saw no one come up and order. I then went up to the stand, standing far enough away so as to not upset anyone from my interaction earlier. I waited another 5 or so minutes, then decided to go up to the window and ask if they were open. I was told that yes they were open and that he had thought I was standing there waiting for my order. Funny because I had not seen anyone order anything since my earlier interaction. I ordered a crabby grilled cheese. Was told they'd call my name when it was ready, so I sat back down. Now, I saw some people in line after me ordering. I waited. Close to ten minutes passed, and I went back up to the stand, only standing within view of the window. After a few minutes, the man at the window calls out another name, not mine, multiple times, then after a brief interaction with other staff, calls me over and said they can sell this one to me because this other person did not pick theirs up. Funny, since I didn't see anyone else order in the time I was there, yet it just so happened that they ordered the exact same thing as me. I took it back to my table. The grilled cheese was supposed to come with like a tomato soup dipper. There was no tomato soup, only a small container of marinara sauce. I do not feel comfortable recommending this establishment nor going back to it in the future due to the lack of service and lackluster product preparation.
