Cape Kiwanda Seafood Market

If you're ever in Pacific City, you will find yourself here at some point. Either for a stack of wood for the beach, a six pack for the beach as well or just some quick snacks. The prices are obviously a bit higher than basically anywhere else, but they know they're the easy stop for most, so they can get away with it. I finally decided to try their "deli sandwiches" that you order and was 100% disappointed. This dopey looking kid with blue hair brings it out to me, nice enough, whatever. Get down to the beach, opened mine up and there was no meat on it, at all. So back up we go, he apologies, bring a new sandwich out a couple minutes later and this one is stacked with meat. Second, the "deli sandwich" is literally a sandwich you would get in elementary school. Just basic slices of white bread, the small slices of white bread. The potato chop bag it comes with, maybe 7 chips inside. The weight on the bag says 1/2 OZ. I wish I was kidding. So yeah, not playing that game again. I will keep coming here because it's easy, but if I can avoid it, I'll shoot over to the grocery store across the river.

Decent fish and chips with fresh caught Ling cod and sea bass. Good price on the meal and filling.

Fairly good food selction and a cute selection in the attached gift shop. Dont forget the Tillamook icecream parlor or the saltwater taffys.

Its was a one stop shop,I got all I needed and the kids all got ice cream. There was a lot of people but it was a busey week end in p.c
