South Beach Fish Market

We got 1/2 crab and it was delicious, halibut fish and chips were amazing! Crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside, tarter was really good too! We also ordered the prawns mmm they were big and delicious. Fries were well seasoned and extra crunchy! My husband ordered the crab burger and he said it's one of the best things he has EVER ate. We ordered the salmon candy and smoked oysters for the ride home and we had them gobbled down before we got out of the parking lot. Very clean! Can't wait for our next vacation. It's a MUST stop kind of place.

Still great fresh seafood and a broad menu. I had the local fresh fish & chips like the people that live here do. This was ling cod, a mild white meat fish similar to halibut but at a better price ( halibut $15.75 vs $12.50 for ling cod). The portions are OK and both fish and fries are cooked to perfection. My brother had the crab sandwich made with fresh crab, it came with fries, and was a large size. Everything is deep fried but not greasy. Not fancy, you order from the counter and indoor seating is limited. There are picnic tables outside. Parking is ample. The location is south of the bridge from Newport on the right hand side. Watch for the large fresh crab sign.

The BEST fish market on the coast! Their "Salmon Candy" is to die for. It's simply AMAZING! And, their Smoked Black Cod is just as AWESOME... It melts in your mouth. The girls behind the counter are always so friendly, helpful, very quick & thorough. They even package to-go orders with great care...and put them safely on a generous amount of ice in a big baggy, so there's no reason not to stop here. I highly recommend South Beach Fish Market.

This is, quite possibly, the best fish market and deli on the Oregon Coast. Not only do they have a wide selection of delicious deli seafood like sandwiches, fried fish, and shrimp, they have a sizable selection of local seafood like crab, salmon, and tuna. Make sure you come during off hours because it can be incredibly busy during the lunch and dinner rush. But even if you do come when they're busy, they are well worth the wait.

Tidy, nope. Modern,not at all. Fancy, heck no. Good food always.....YES. Have been going here for years and it is always great. Smoked salmon is super and the fresh choices are out of this world. This place is a must try.
