Luna Sea Fish House

Sometimes you come across a place that instantly makes an impression that you know will stay with you for a long time, this is such a place! There was a couple of guys playing guitars and singing 60's & 70's songs in the outside dining area. When our fish and chips arrived I was amazed at the lightness and tenderness of the cod. The owner Robert will come by and check on you personally. It was just wonderful, will definitely be back.

Fine place. Watch out for the fries. The inside is super hot and you might burn your tongue. Fried salmon was okay. Thick breading if you like that kind of thing. Small place so be prepared to either sit outside or to be split up if you have a larger group. Friendly staff. Owner is a nice guy.

If you ride a motorcycle DO NOT STOP IN !!! We've never had a more rude reception in our lives, literally chased out of the building! Whom ever the servers are this evening, they truly missed the mark! With ample, visible seating, they told us we would have a 15-30 minute wait to be seated! We took our business around the corner to Heidi's Ital**n Dinners! Great reception, great service and a wonderful meal!

Our favorite seafood in Yachats. Most nights the fisherman that catches your meal is there checking to see how things are. Simple operation with picnic tables inside and outside. Great menu choices.

Yes it is a little crowded, but they did their best with what little space they have. I see a lot of reviews saying it's pricey, for one it's a small place, also the owner catches his own fish and crab then cooks it in his own establishment so you get the freshest he can catch. I think that is better then what other places offer. And it tells you how dedicated and hard working the owner is, plus he takes the time to at least say hi to his customers, now a days you don't get that much. The fries aren't as crunchy as I would like but I usually like mine the way other people don't so not their fault. Chowder was good, I tried a little something from everyone and all the fish I tried was fresh and nicely cooked. The staff was polite and stayed on top of things considering that we had 7 people for them to serve. Good job, hope you stay open for many years to come.
