Super friendly staff and nice hipster version of an old school ice cream parlor. Ice cream is “dry” like I remember Midwest ice cream in the ‘80s. In particular it reminds me of Door County, WI and Breyers before these modern “frozen dairy dessert” days. Limited menu with strong, not too sweet flavors. Shout out for specifying “peppermint” chip as opposed to spearmint. Although let’s be honest, fake mint flavor from 31 flavors is my childhood mint of preference.
If in the area, Davey’s is worth trying. I suspect enjoyment will completely depend on available flavors and your preferences.

The ice cream is really good here, with great flavors and texture. However, it doesn’t come cheap, and the staff don’t warn you when things cost extra. I got a single scoop, and the staff said “it comes with any cone,” and I thought, oh, great, I’ll get a waffle cone, since those usually cost extra at other places. Well, it also costs extra here. I suppose they meant they could physically put the scoop in any cone. My total rang up to nearly $8, which is basically a dinner anywhere outside NYC.

Dave’s is the best. Large amount of ice cream with reasonable price. Good service always makes it easy. Taste your ice cream before buy it.

ALTHOUGH the $10 milkshake consists of THREE scoops of ice cream, they REFUSE to mix flavors. They pride themselves in being "purists", but then serve a watered-down, ICY milkshake. Do not settle.

Large servings at a good price, and they taste great too. Has a small seating area. Had the choc chip cookie dough and the Nutella split, both were creamy and had good texture as well as taste. The split was meant to be two kids size scoops and was already large for the price so pretty value for money
