OddFellows Ice Cream Co. The Sandwich Shop

Every single flavor of theirs I've ever tried, no matter how weird it seemed, has been delicious. The Odd Pocket is heavy (recommend splitting with a friend) but amazingly decadent on a cool day. Friendly little shop with lovely counter clerks.

This place is dangerous. Coffee and ice cream in the same place. Peanut butter and jelly ice cream!!!! This is a must try that will flash you right back to your childhood. The coffee is amazing and hits the spot. A real gem 5stars.

I was torn between 4 and 5 stars because NYC has so many extraordinary ice scream spots with what feels like new ones opening up every week. I went with 5 because Oddfellows has a couple of different offerings that really help distinguish themselves from other ice cream spots. Flavors: Lots of unique flavors here with a focus on diversity and using the world to come up with new ones. There was a month on Southeast Asia flavors, then South Africa and also South America - I love this! It's fun, different and they had a flavor passport to keep folks coming back for more. They also partner up with authors and non-profit orgs. Neat! Some unique flavors I've had here include mulled wine, basil lemonade, this iced tea, red velvet cream cheese, etc. Quality: Oddfellow's ice cream has a really nice, old-fashioned creamy texture that's reminiscent with my favorite ice cream shop when I was a kid. With creamy and fruity types of ice cream options (and fun toppings!) there is something here for everyone. Cookies, Ice cream sandwiches and ice cream "pockets" (panini pressed) are also all really fun! Service: Everyone I've ever interacted with here has been friendly, efficient and warm. Feel free to sample whatever flavors you like and have fun with toppings and such. The folks here are here to please. Pricing: VERY reasonable and fun fact - they sell Lactaid tablets so if you need that, it's here. Genius, lol. _____________________________________________ Overall I really love this hole-in-the-wall ice cream shop. Each time I've been here has been a great experience and I look forward to future trips!

I had the peanut butter and jelly ice cream and it was pretty good. Still want to come back and try oddpocket!
