My mother was placed here for rehab and they were amazing with her she is like a different person so much better.

My mother has Alzheimer's and was in Delmar Gardens for rehab for almost 1 month. She was verbally abused by her roommate for approximately 4 days. My mother was so upset she was inconsolable I had to stay her last night with her because she was so afraid. This should have never happened. All the workers we're fully aware of the bad decisions they used at pairing my mother with the new roommate. If you need rehab it truly is a great place but only if your loved one is self sifficient otherwise you run the risk of abuse because they don't use better judgment when pairing roommates like they did with us. I will be filing a complaint with the state.
