Life Care Center of South Las Vegas

This has been a horrible experience. As a family member we struggle to get through to anyone to get the status of my fathers care. Also, when we have been visiting and hit the button to get a nurse we have had very long response times. I am hoping my family member is not in this facility for long.

This is the worse facility ever call light on nurse take a hour to come give 4 diapers a day total rude inattentive one charge nurse on 2 different shifts to give all patients medicine I've seen dogs get treated better

Do not leave a loved one in this facility, nurses are almost non existing you have to wait an average of 30 to 90 minutes for a response when you need assistance. Rude staff,liers No Dr most of the time incompetent therapist,horrible place.I have filed complaints with dept of health and medicare.

This place like most in this business is unreal, insensitive, money hungry and insane, unorganized. The care is better than some places, but this one will lie and lie and lie to get your family member here, and then kick them out ASAP after all the conversations about "being different" and everything. I got a call on Monday that my grandmother would be discharged on Tuesday without ANY notice, I scrambled to find a group home to move her to, paid a deposit on the home, moved her items there, and got a call that she has deep tissue bruising and cant move for at least a week. Why wouldn't the Dr look at her BEFORE they call me threatening to kick her out. Any home, facility etc has it scams but these people are incredibly unorganized and heartless. They have no care what they put you through, and the delivery is always wrong. "Hi, How you doing today?" Are you kidding?? I am obviously doing bad, it isn't funny you SOB Update* In dealing with this company the last 2 weeks they have changed, postponed, lied, not returned calls, not provided me, my potential hospice care worker for my grandmother, or her new potential home the information needed to ensure she will not be released without any pending issues. Then when I complained the woman had the nerve to tell me that she has done a "great job" Really professional to toot your own horn when you are dangling an elderly woman's life around. After asking for a supervisor I was asked if I wanted to give her, (the person I am complaining about) the information to pass on to the supervisor. Who would turn in notes on their own bad and unprofessional behavior? No one. So obviously I will wait for what will probably end up being 5 hours on hold to speak with him anyway. I think people just get fed up and don't care to go over the details after so much stress, well I am fed up. I am going to post on this, and ever other experience I have had thus far with elderly care here.

this has got to be one of the worst House of Horrors ever!!!!!!! I was sent there for rehab because of hip replacement surgery. my first appt. with my orthopedic surgeon was canceled because I was not notified and I was sitting in a pile of poop when the van driver came. he promised the appt would be rescheduled,I took care of that. My 2nd week I had a bladder infestion and blood pressure was very low,and it took 5days for that to be taken care of.. the day of my next ortho appt I get back and find out I am discharged and my son was coming to get me with his car. He doesn't own one!! I was the happiest camper when I got out of there. PLEASE avoid sending a family member there if you love them.
