This is worthy of a return trip! Staff was very polite and responsive. The evening was so beautiful, that we decided dine on the patio. The music made the night fun. We ordered a wine flight to go with our meal which was extremely generous pours. Bonus! The fried avocado could use some spice but was really yummy. My favorite by far was the oysters on a half shell which were fresh. The broccolini salad was everything must order. I still have dreams about that salad. I would like to come back and try their cocktail menu and would 100% recommend this place to a complete stranger.
All the food and drinks were amazing. The happy hour deals were really nice. The deviled eggs might be the best I've ever had. They look simple yet taste perfect! We ended up eating two plates of oysters. I also recommend the duck pastis! Very unique.
If you're ever in downtown San Jose and looking for a good place to have a meal then you have to check this place out. The atmosphere is open and the restaurant is nicely decorated. They also have a good selection of bar food which is reasonably priced. First we had the ceviche mixto which was very flavorful and fresh. Then came the grilled steak which was nicely cooked and moist. The burger was also done right. Lastly we had the beignets to end the meal. All of the dishes hit the spot! If you're also in a mood for a cocktail they have a full bar. While here we ordered classic drinks that weren't on the menu and they were spot on!
I came here after work with a large group - we shared a bunch of happy hour appetizers and pizzas. Maybe it was because we had a big table, but getting drinks seemed to take a while. The fried risotto ball was by far the best appetizer on the menu! Deviled eggs, oysters, French fries and Brussels sprouts were all pretty average. The most interesting pizza had a seafood and chorizo combo, lots of flavors. My coworkers also enjoyed the chicken sausage pizza. We got a chocolate mousse pot for dessert - the best part of that dish was the toasted marshmallow. Vegetarian options: Fried risotto ball appetizer, margarita pizza, French fries, Brussels sprouts
Came here for their happy hour and the drinks were great! Also ordered deviled eggs which I can say were delicious. Service was quick and our server was very kind/helpful. I would definitely come back to try out other drinks/happy hour foods.
Went before a Saturday sharks game. Tables were reservations only. But we were early and the bar is first come first serve so we didn’t have to wait. It was happy hour until 6 so we got most items from that menu. Probably got too much fried items but they were all good. There is a parking garage right across the street. Pay parking in this area.
This place has great vibes, very lively outdoor and indoor seatings. We went on a Friday night and the place was packed. Even though the place was packed the wait times were negligible. However the service was a little slow. I enjoyed the La vida verde from the cocktail section. Calabrian chicken sausage pizza tasted good too. Chef’s tasting board had a good selection of breads, cheese and charcuterie. Great place in San Jose downtown area if you are looking for a relaxed place to chill. There are street parking options nearby and there is a parking garage on the same street.
We experienced some horrible service from the waiter. He acted like he didn’t want to be there take out drink orders or our food order. We arrived at 5:15pm during happy hour. Was able to get one round of beers ordered before 6pm. Waiter didn’t offer to fill water and food didn’t come out til 630pm. The Cubano was good and burgers were not up to par
Co-workers took me out for my last day at work here, food was awesome and service was great. The outdoor ambience was superb/good weather.
Service was top notch. Great selection of spirits and tasty food. Watched the Golden State Warriots win another NBA Championship with a fun crowd of Dubs fans. I'd return again when in San Jose .
