Dr. Rita Sharma, M.D.

I've been a patient of Dr. Sheikh for several years now, only once coming in for a sick visit, so I can't really testify as to his medical expertise because he's never really had to fix me. I just go there to get my prescription refilled. So let's talk about why two stars instead of five. Yesterday morning, I called to have the prescription refilled like I always do. I received a call back saying I had to come in for a six-month check-up visit before it would be refilled, which is usually fine. Only problem: I need it filled now because I'm out of meds, yet I have zero free time to schedule a last-minute emergency doctor visit for what should be a routine transaction. I'm happy to come in next week, just can't do it right this second, okay doc? When I called back to explain the situation yesterday afternoon, the person who took my call was incredibly rude and unhelpful. As of right now, I'm still waiting on a call back from Dr. Sheikh. After I get the prescription filled, I'll probably start shopping for a new healthcare provider. With all the choices available, it's simply not worth the hassle of dealing with horrible customer service.

I made family health care my PCP about a year ago. They are the best medical office I have ever been to. I have extremely high expectations for doctors as I have grown up with long term health problems. The staff and doctors are friendly and efficient. It's easy to get exactly what I need from them, they are responsive and helpful, and they take me the same or next day if I'm sick.
