Saw Dr. Loo on an emergency basis for a retinal tear while visiting Las Vegas. I found him to be very polite and professional and he did laser surgery on my eye during my visit. Staff was great and efficient as well.

He suggested that my son was making up his illness. In his left eye, a quarter of the image is black. He has double vision in both eyes. His right eye, the image is flipped.
My son 7, was referred recently for an exam. I was dismissed quickly without a medical diagnosis. The previous opthamologist said my son has a weak eye. Ever since the appointment, I have spent countless hours researching his illness. Today, I finally found something. amblyopia. It means my sons brain and eye aren't working together.
Online, it suggested I put an eye patch on his stronger eye to force his weak eye to work properly. I tried it. 5 minutes later, my son said his vision improved.
Why would a medically trained doctor, who sees an average of 5% of clients with this condition, not recommend this? Why was I so easily dismissed?
