Dynamic Fitness and Performance

My wife and I are looking for a gym in Boone, but when I walked in the front door, I was greeted by 2 pit bulls! barking loudly. I asked the women at the desk if I should be worried and her reply was, "if they were going to attack you it would already be too late..." So this was a negative first impression. I walked around the gym and everything looked old and nobody was there. This is not the kind of place I would ever visit again.

Excellent selection of equipment and plenty of it ! They even have strongman stuff in the basement, power racks and plenty of platforms. You will never have to wait to use anything. Unfortunately the gym is owned by Miss Trunchbull who is absolutely the most Un professional business owner I've ever met. I imagine this has something to do with the lack of people attending the gym as I know that is the reason why me and 5 other of my friends no longer go there. Also the facility is pretty dirty, the owner let's her dogs roam around (which are adorable) but they smell like they have never been given a bath. The facility is also poorly heated or cooled, making winter there terrible you can hardly breath sometimes. The basement is moldy, dusty and damp. If you can get past the rude looks and remarks of Miss Trunchbull, Dave (the other owner), the staff , and the awesome selection of equipment make it a pretty decent gym.

Brian, I'm sorry you felt such disrespect at our gym. I wish that in your 30 days at our place you would have brought any issues up with us in person so we would have had a chance to clear up any issues. Please understand a few things: 1. We are approached daily by people asking for spots and we just can’t spot everyone. Because of this we just decided that we would not spot people, this is just a policy we have in place. 2. I greeted you each and every time you came through the front sign-in area, just as I do everyone else. 3. The situation with your friend was an issue that needed to be addressed. He and his friends did not clean up after themselves the last time they visited our gym and I asked them politely to do so. However, as they were cleaning up they made comments towards one of our regular members that were aggressive and out of line. So yesterday I made sure to address it. I didn’t “curse him out” although I did use profanity in speaking with him. In closing, we are sorry to lose your business and wish you the best in your future endeavors.

David is the real deal. If you're looking to get ripped or simply to get yourself feeling somewhat better for the upcoming summer season, etc. Dynamic Fitness is pretty decent at working with a strategy that makes sense for the little time and money that I have to work with.
