This park is absolutely beautiful and great for easy walking with a stroller. The beauty of the park alone would be 5 stars but I am giving it a 2 star rating because of how rude the man who works here is. I hate leaving bad reviews because generally I am a pretty easy going person and I can understand that parks have set hours and rules. I have come here twice now with my 2 children to go for a walk and BOTH times he has run out of the building telling me the park is closing even though there is still an hour until it closes. Today I got to the park at 5:55pm and he ran out of the building telling me they closed in 35 minutes. I said, "don't you close at 7?" And he went on a tirade about about how everyone needs to be back at their car at 6:45 to leave the park. Forgive me if I am confused but the park is open until 7...not 6:45. I understand it must get annoying when people stay too late and he has to wait before he locks the gate for the evening but come on! This is the second time I have felt like I need to just leave even though the park is open and not closing anytime soon. As I sit here typing at least 5 people have pulled up and gotten out to walk, and he has told them the park is closing so they all left. It is 6:30pm. It is a shame because people want to come and enjoy this place but are basically told to leave when there is plenty of time to walk around. I feel he could be nicer and just politely let people know the park closes right at 7pm and what the current time is without being rude and hostile.

An underrated Jewell for nature walks, lunch or picnic gatherings, etc. No ball or team sports allowed. Its just a quiet place to relax and drink in the beauty of nature

Whoever created and upkeeps this park provides a service to us all! A beautiful gem of nature. Feels very magical. Diverse trees, hilly, peaceful, serene.
