Woodland Park

This is a great park that happens to be the place where the Woodland Art fair is held every year. The park has a natural canopy of old growth oak trees among others that provide shade for the parks many visitors. This park has a public swimming pool as well as a good sized skate park. In my exposure to different areas of Lexington Ky, I've noticed that there are many parks throughout. Bring lunch and stay a while. The park is surrounded by beautiful older home representing several architectural design periods.

Beautiful park, lots of old trees. I love walking here. There's playgrounds, a swimming pool and a skate park. Very nicely coordinated park, beautiful community run flower garden and great tennis courts.

Absolutely love this park, I take my kids there all the time. They have newer and nicer playground equipment, the people are much nicer and friendlier there as well. The only bad thing about this park is the parking, but other than that everything is great.

My son loves the pirate ship at the pool. It's got three pools total. One for kids, one for swimmers, and one for the diving boards and rock climbing wall.

Great place for summer picnics, outdoor play for children, outdoor swimming and outdoor skate park (be sure to wear your protective skate gear)
