Very interesting and gorgeous park! This is one of the best parks in the area with so much to do, and so much space, so that you can have your own little private area to enjoy. They have a very challenging disc golf course that is very fun, but I would say definitely not for beginners since a lot of it is tricky shots through the woods and over creeks and the like. There are pavilions and plenty of picnic areas, a playground, a lake for fishing, volleyball courts and much more! Plenty of parking as well!

My kids really enjoy Jacobson Park! They have redone and upgraded everything! It's such a good park to take your family. They offer the little peddle boats for a low price, but have a free water park area for the kids, lots to play on, you can feed the ducks, fish, cookout, and they have free family movie nights through the summer! One of the best parks we go to!

This park gets very over crowded sometimes, it would behoove them to build another playground in one of the many large fields. It is a great park though! The splash park that is open this year is great!! Paddle boat rental is available until about 6-6:30pm for a decent price of $7 per 30 minutes for a 4 person paddle boat.

I am thankful our city sees the importance of having natural environments for the citizens to go to. With Jacobson Park though, the issue is that it is somewhat just that - one big natural environment or field. There are few walking tracks and it is hard to navigate the cluster of things all in one area.

We LOVE the dog park! We go all the time and our puppy loves it. There’s tons of space, and it’s split into two sides: one for smaller dogs, one for larger dogs. It’s also convenient so you can get away from bully dogs on the rare occasion they’re there.
