Veterans Park

I love this park. Lot of cool things to do. Great trails that are even good to walk on hot days because there's plenty of cover if you wanna stay in the shade. Love being near the creek and under the tree canopy there. Also plenty of open fields to play Frisbee or catch with the kids or the dog. Also a very challenging disc golf course that would give even advanced players a run for their money. Nice baseball fields and many other things to do here. All in all probably the best park in the county and not far from Jessamine County either.

I've been here to mountain bike, jog, and stroll casually with my baby in the stroller. All good experiences. The walking trails are nicely paved and I've always happened to go on days where it wasn't deserted, but wasn't too packed either. The mountain biking to be had there is phenomenal if you're not looking for something too difficult but want to have fun and get your heart rate up. You can definitely mountain bike with the family here. The trails offer a few fun little stunt areas, all optional, so you can just ride on through if you'd like too. Such a fun little park!

Really nice kids from different ethnic backgrounds play here. If you are lucky you might even see deer loping close to the elementary.

Fun walk around the park with the grandson. Plenty of playground equipment for his exploring.

This was a nice park to visit. The trail map was a bit confusing and the park was auiyw crowded. Everything was well maintained and the disc golf course was very nice.
