My son was delivered here by doctor Merritt. She is incredible! She had an app on her phone that was continually tracking our vitals all during labor and checked on me frequently. I came in during the middle of the night with prelabor (my first child, so I wasn't certain if it was labor or not) and they went ahead and admitted me to a room. I cannot recommend the nurses and doctors enough! They obviously love their jobs and enjoy working with their patients. They took excellent care of us, extended every courtesy to us and really cared about me and my family. They were very good at keeping us in the loop and explaining anything we had questions about.

I put one star because I could not put NO stars. Trip to the ER that lasted 20 minutes, never saw an MD, no labs, no X-rays and a misdiagnosis because they did not listen to me. Never made it out of the triage area. Only a nurse practitioner, vital signs, and a paper Rx and sent on my way barely able to walk and could not sit. $1926.02. No wonder American healthcare is in the dumper.

Doctors like Dr. Mary Campbell in Labor and Delivery are the EXACT reason why the maternal death rate of African-American women is so disproportionately and alarmingly high. Had I been a white woman in the same situation, I bet she would've listened. I bet she wouldn't have just rushed me out the door with a potentially life-ending issue. Thank God I decided to leave and go to another ER. No doctor is perfect. No assessment is always perfect. But a complete lack of empathy coupled with incompetence is unacceptable and dangerous. I read stories all the time about African-American women not being taken seriously when trying to address issues with doctors, only for the ending to be tragic. But I never imagined that I could've been one added to that list. Had she taken a moment to listen to me about my very REAL pain, she could've helped me. I'm thankful to have ended up at the hospital where my original OB could advocate and coordinate with the other doctors. But Dr. Campbell definitely needs some additional sensitivity and racial bias training. I came to the hospital for help, not to be brushed off. She could've cost me and my unborn child our lives, which is completely unacceptable.

There billboard said estimated time to wait is 5 min. Yeah right !!! I’ve been waiting for over two hour and thirty min and they still have not called out our name. Maybe if there staff actually get some work done instead of sitting around slouching talking , joking or being on there phone maybe this process will move quicker. I should have went to Gwinnett medical I will guaranteed you my friend would have gotten her stitches by now. Don’t come here go somewhere else. Worse SERVICE EVER !!

Had an emergency yesterday and all nurses in the ER were fantastic. The CT technician Melissa was very professional and Dr. Stearns was on the spot, attentive and explained everything clearly. My wife and I as well as my late mom have been to this ER. I have no hesitation being taken care of at this ER.
