I recently had a visit to the ER, and Naomi W. RN, was extremely helpful and overall sweet! She made sure me and my family were comfortable, and her attitude was so pleasant. You could definitely tell she loves and values her job, which definitely made up for the staff memebers who were having off days. The hospital itself was very clean, and appropriately managed.

I've been here a few of times now in the ER with my kids and for myself over the last year. In all honestly, they do have what looks like a faster procedure for moving patients through the ER than other places I've been. The talent on hand is a little lacking. They have a lot of nurse practitioners running around with what seems a lot less doctors. I needed two different specialists on two different visits, but all I got was a NP that just wasn't as experienced or educated as I needed to really help. On one visit, I had to take my child to Children's right after because we go no where here. BUT then you get the bill... this hospital has the HIGHEST rates of any in network in my state. Like, I almost fell over when I saw one ER visit to have my daughter's knee x-rayed met our annual family deductible of $2700 and then we hit a bit more money for co-insurance. Keep in mind, we saw a NP for this visit, too. We're not getting top notch talent or even the level of educated medical professionals for the cost. Also, I've waited on hold for 30 minutes in aggregate across 4 phone calls to get no one to answer a single billing question. I've been passed around from customer service to billing to reception on an endless loop. All this spinning just to get someone to take money!

My husband was in a room for an hour before I knew it. No organization in this hospital. He was placed in a room his urinel was not in reach they told him they had called for me. I was still on the surgery floor no one came to get me or told me. I asked after waiting for a hour and she told me he had been in his room for a while. Really!!!!

Leaving our stay with labor and delivery now. The entire time we have been coming to this hospital during our pregnancy the staff has gone above and beyond for us. I was floored by the kindness shown by every person we’ve met. A special thank you to Amy, a visiting nurse from the Gainesville campus that helped deliver our boy on 2/23—you personally made this experience incredible and we will forever be grateful for you!

My Dad was in ICU for one week and then regular hospital bed another week. I spent a great deal of time in the hospital over the last two weeks. Doctor Bret and nurses were incredible. Some of the nurses are honestly angels in disguise. Hospice care is next.
