I came to to Econo with an open mind despise all of the negative reviews. Sad to say I should have took my business else where. It’s been a waste of time and money. My car has been there 3 times and it wasn’t done correctly at any point of time. I would compare this to getting a bad tattoo because someone is gonna have to go back for a cover up. $$$ These people are no where near professionals but charging professional prices. They charged me for a front and rear bumper that was not put on my car. The price we originally agreed on was close to $800 but when I pick the car up they tell me $1400. After arguing about the price we agreed to $1200. They overspray EVERYTHING hubcaps exhaust etc. It looks like they just take a spray can and spray everything. On top of that the paint peels off more and more after every car wash BY HAND. There is no type of inspection of the car to make sure it’s right before they give it back to you and they don’t even clean the car before the return it to you. The customer service is TERRIBLE!!! They can spray your car 100 times and it still won’t be correct. If you don’t like wasting your hard earned money DONT GO HERE!!! Your best bet is to call the owner in Florida after they mess your car up.
Just received my suv back today after they mess up my suburban back in dec paid them to spray hood and roof black they mess up both of my fender then painted one without telling me throwing the paint off on limo transportation off which was perfect almost, told repaint it and it looks bad and they sanded my Crome on my doors causing further damage to my truck. Taking them to small claims court this my business truck soooo disappointed. 01/19/2023 econo paint Charlotte nc on tryon. If you have something nice don’t go cheap way. Greg the regional manager was super nice trying to rectify situation.
This shop does great work. Stephanie and Mike do really care about the customer and will spend the time to answer questions but more importantly, they ensure the work is done to a high level of quality. From dropping off the car, getting updates during the process, and picking up, Stephanie ensured the process was run right. She does not seem like the type of person who will let a bad paint job leave her lot. I am a believer in their work.
My ’97 Civic paint was in pathetic condition due to the sun breaking down my car’s clear coat and then breaking down my paint. Stephanie and the front office get pretty busy but they took care of me and they have a great turn-around time. The work was completed on time and was a great value; they even provided me some touch-up paint.
I couldn't have imagined a paint job could be this bad. I mean it's just awful. It's very uneven, you can see all the buffing marks, and other random lines everywhere. There's chips in the paint, glue oozing out from where they replaced the toyota emblem. I paid extra for them to sand some rust off the roof before they painted. They clearly didn't sand it, and very obviously just painted right over the rust. Don't ever take a car you care about to get painted here. I'm giving it two stars because my faded old toyota beater indeed came out with paint on it, and the front desk lady was cool. That's it. But it's laughable how bad it is. If this was a nicer car, I would definitely not be laughing.
So here is my story, when my car was first painted it was completely the wrong color and they sanded my chrome and over my recently restored headlights, they even painted the exhaust, and the color was like a greenish pollen gold??? Supposed to be granate metallic silver pearl That being said... I contacted their headquarters in Florida. The regional manager Scott Deveitt apologized for my trouble and assured me that this was to be fixed. After my respray, they did a much better job than the first time. They fixed the exhaust, and are going to reimburse me for replacement chrome trim and restore the headlights back to normal, more importantly the color was correct. I'm satisfied now. However it was way more difficult and problematic than it should have been. I'm not sure how I feel about returning for future business. Just know that your experience may vary but if it's done right, it's hard to beat the price. ***The photo is of the re-spray***
This was a fantastic value, the car looks awesome and the price was half the price of three other places. I would absolutely refer others, and I would return for any future painting needs.
From a distance, their basic "Enamel Deluxe" paint package looks pretty good but definitely not showroom worthy or anything which is expected. Up close, The gloss shine is muted and the "orange peel" effect is present. Over-spray was not too terrible in my case. The worst part is how they sanded over the edges of my headlights that I had replaced months ago. When they removed the emblems, they never bothered to fully remove the old adhesive, they simply painted over it and did a sloppy job gluing the lettering back on crookedly I had instructed them to leave them off. They taped over the windshield washer nozzles and left the tape on There was actually a lot of tape around the car I had to remove myself. When I removed the tape, the area around the nozzles were left unpainted. Other issues includes: rough textures in certain areas, over-spray of the windshield came off easily, & sanded over parts that shouldn't have been. Customer service was good, and they had the car ready in just 2 business days. Regardless, the work looks rushed and done without care. Overall, for $249, 299, 325, or whatever special is going on plus fees & tax, you get a simply 'decent' result for the price.
Great job and even better price.Blessings
Can’t express enough how great of a job these folks did!, completely revitalized this 89’ dodge. I’ll definitely be back & I recommend if your in the fence about it just go !!!
