Economy Transmission

They charged me $400 to repair a leak at the wiring harness. It was a simple O-ring that needed to be replaced but they said it was leaking through the harness which is solid and would have been impossible. They don't think about repeat business. They seem to only be interested in getting as much money from you as they can first time around. The owner tried recommending repairs that would have made my bill over $2k. Typical salesman. Also when I called and said I would need a ride if I dropped my car off they were happy to give me a ride home. But then when the car was finished the owner refused to send someone to pick me up. He said "Where does it say in writing that we must pick you up?". So I was forced to use Uber. I'll never go to Economy Transmission again. I should have taken it to Bobbys Transmission in the first place. They are honest and care about repeat business.

Brought my daughter's car in with a suspected failed torque converter. After consultation with Dan he told me he couldn't say for certain without taking out the transmission. We discussed the possible issues and costs extensively. After approving the work, it was as suspected. No attempt to sell me a new transmission or rebuilt transmission. Dan replaced the torque converter, charged a fair price and also took care of a few other items found during the repair. All around great place and highly recommend. Being able to trust your mechanic is priceless. Thank you Dan!!!

What great service! I had to take in my 71 Ford pickup to see about a transmission issue. Economy had replaced my transmission in 2011 and we have had no problems till just recently. I returned to them to have them look at my truck due to it not shifting properly. Dan had one of his technicians go out and look at it and found that we had a bad hose. He had it repaired and on my way within 20 minutes. Blew me away on how personable and quick they were to find the issue. Thank you so much Dan and technicians for your awesome service
