Excellent service, very knowledgeable and locally owned for decades. We purchased a used lens from Idaho camera and discovered there was some compatibility issues. The owner Pat, stepped in and went over and above to solve the issue. We are very happy and will be doing ALL our camera business with Idaho Camera because they stand behind what they sell. First rate business - something you do not see much of these days.

Through some miscommunication, maybe too busy, bad day, or whatever, I got poor customer service on a camera question I directed to the Boise Mall store. Got a next-day call from the owner. He was the model of how to fix it, make it right, solve the problem. It was a simple camera mode setting fix. This is what I thought it was. Why the person two days ago was so curt, I know not. I think United Airlines could take a lesson from the owner here. For my part, I want to change my one star rating to five stars. This is how these things are done .

In the last year I have been in this store three or more times. They are always friendly, and helpful. Even though I stopped by in some old clothes once they were very helpful and respectful. I appreciated that on a recent visit,. they gave me a new battery to replace their own battery that had failed. I'm a customer for life.
