El Rancho

Same experience. Sat at bar. I was impossibly polite and friendly. Seemed to not be terribly interested in me. Prices are a bit steep which might be worth it if staff weren’t so indifferent. My coworker loves the place. Maybe I smell bad.

My family and i recently moved to the area. We have always ate at the El Rancho in Cuyahoga Falls and loved it. We have been to this El Rancho 3 times in the past month. While the food is very good, the service is absolutely horrible. None of the employees seem to want to do their job. Once they take your order and bring your food, you are lucky if they come back to check on you. You can't get refills on your drinks and they seem to not care you are there at that point. We will not be going back to this restaurant, we will drive the distance to eat at the other location. They need to do an overhaul of their help, and get employees who actually want to work and take care of paying customers. Very disappointing

Authentic Hispanic restaurant. I say Hispanic because they incorporate more than dishes considered Mexican. Staff there are amazing, they wait on you hand and foot and are fluent in Spanish. Drinks are a little expensive but the food is the best Hispanic cuisine that I have had in Akron. Highly recommend.

Honestly great food and great service. I was not sure what to order and my server helped pick out a very good dish that I never even knew existed. I will definitely be coming back as I left with a full stomach, a smile and feeling happy!

Unfortunately my friend I both thought that the food was tasteless and generic. And on top of that many amauture mistakes were made with the service. People were nice but so disorganized. Bringing my entree out 7 minutes before my friend's was one of many things that were frustrating with our experience. The waiter and the cashier only made eye contact with my friend when they asked him how everything was. My friend is too shy to tell the truth. If they had made eye contact with me and asked me I would have told them that we were both unhappy. I like to see businesses thrive and I will be honest in the hope that they will use the information to better themselves. But not acknowledging me was a sure fire way to get a bad public review. I will I ever eat here again.
