Nuevo Modern Mexican and Tequila Bar Restaurant

Food: They have some very interesting margarita flavors (try the peach). Guacamole is unique, 1 of our 3 was not fresh though. The short ribs were tender and flavorful. The cheesy grits that accompanied mine was the best part, rich and full of flavor. Shrimp tacos were light and fresh. The coconut tapioca pudding was a little heavy on the tapioca and light on the pudding, but tasted exotic. Atmosphere: Decent size place with a fun vibe. Was packed with businessmen when we went for dinner. Clean and hip decor. Service: The front of the house girls are cute and sweet. The servers are prompt and kind. Gave very good recommendations on each aspect of meal.

Great friendly atmosphere! Service was excellent! Food was amazing! Very flavorful and tender! They also have both vegan and gluten free options when asked. Definitely recommend this place and I hope to go again!

Best part of eating at Nuevo: They always have something on the menu that I've never heard of/had/made before. Their meals are very creative and delicious! Very vegan-friendly and knowledgeable. Plus the ambiance is great. I love the patio in the summer! It's just lovely.

The guacamole is delicious! The waiter suggested to add the hot jelly, AMAZING! As you can see, it was devoured fairly quickly. I had the smoked pork burrito. The pork was good but the pickled onions took the show! I was a little disappointed in the rice and beans. They seemed a little bland. The service was excellent and I had a great experience. I will definitely come back and try other menu items.

The food is a gourmet Mexican variant. It may or may not to your liking. Some of the crowd loved it. It was somewhat crowded and service was a bit slow. I was disappointed that chips were not complimentary, but had to be purchased for the table. The guacamole was quite nice.
