El Tren Grill Mexican Restaurant

Was pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste of food! Originally from CA and this place is one of the better Mexican restaurants in the area! Service is kinda hit and miss. Update 4/2018 We came here for dinner and got a huge rock in our beans, which could've been overcame BUT management did not step up and did not offer any sort of expected customer service to compensate for the rock. It our kids ate it it could've been bad! Management needs more customer service skills!!! And this is why we have never gone back since then!

Enjoyed this restaurant. They have changed their salsa, though. It's thinner and more watery than their previous salsa. Preferred the previous recipe better. They also serve a cole slaw now that didn't interest me at all. Their menu selection is extensive. Loved my entree. My burrito was delicious and served with generous portions of beans and rice. The service was friendly and quick. I would go back, but wish they would bring back their previous salsa.

Fantastic environment, and I mean FANTASTIC. Such a cool setup. If you can stop looking around and grab a bite to eat you'll find the food is just as tasteful. The staff here is super friendly and helpful too. Can't say enough good things about this place. I should probably be here more often.

Salsa not good and they give you coleslaw as well for chips which is weird. Food just okay and service was weak. A shame cuz the place looks nice and good atmosphere.

Today was my second bad experience there. The first time I had a bad experience was two weekends ago I took two of my kids there,when we were at the hostess desk the woman told us it would be a few minutes. We then went and sat on the wooden benches and played a little bit. Around 20 minutes later more people came in ,went to the hostess Center and got sat right away. I'm guessing the woman forgot to seat us. I went and mention that we have been waiting to be that and she had a hundred and one excuses with an attitude of why we weren't sat yet. When all she really had to say was sorry. Today I took my sister out to lunch for her birthday, when the food Runner brought our food out and sat my burrito on the table I immediately saw little black hairs on top of my food. I told my waitress she really wasn't that worried about it she told me she'd have a new one made. She brings out my new burrito and it literally had three tiny pieces of chicken it was all rice and beans. I'm guessing that was my repercussion of having my food sent back because they brought it out with hair all over it. My waiter wasn't worried about that either. She told me the manager would be out about 15 minutes later I asked where the manager was. This time she came out and was very argumentative again about the situation I realize that was the woman I dealt with with the seating issue as well. I always give places more than one chance but they just blew their second chance. Good food as long as it doesn't come out with hair on it very very very bad service
