Couldn't wait to fire up my old Marantz receiver that I brought into Danny to fix... NOT disappointed!! It sounds better then I remember, now I'm planning to break out all my old vinyl. He's a very knowledgeable tech who took the time to explain the issue and the fix. I would happily recommend him to friends and family.

I looked on You Tube to see how difficult it would be to replace belts in my Sony ES cassette deck. The one video stressed not to attempt it. Searched and found Dan at Electronic Workbench. I saw 2 reviews from people I know, both 5 STARS. I picked up my deck and have been listening to tapes, works like new. Price was very fair. The only regret I have is Dan was talking to me about turn tables and repairing them, I discarded my Dual 1229 a number of years ago, wish I knew about Dan then!!

I took a piece of equipment to Electronic Workbench that I was sure was not working, and Dan tested it and determined that nothing was wrong with it. I really appreciate Dan's honesty, because I'm sure that some other guy would have probably looked at it and charged me for doing nothing. I really appreciate Dan's honesty, and I will definitely be going back to him when I have a piece of equipment that really needs repair.

I used to take my audio video equipment to EW when I lived in Hackensack about 15 years ago. I was always pleased with the repairs and the quality of work. I live much further away now but when I needed my cassette deck repaired I brought it here. The player would stop playing a tape shortly after I hit "play". Dan fixed that problem and charged me $129, although he accepted $100. I asked for a receipt and got it but there were absolutely no details listed as far as the work that was done. When I hooked the unit up at home, I could hear that the tape was playing back too fast. Not pleased so I brought the unit back. He adjusted the voltage while I waited and that solved the problem. Did someone not listen to the unit before I picked it up the first time and hear that playback was too fast? Additionally, now when I play a cassette the high notes are distorted. I have no intentions of bringing back the deck a THIRD time and now possess a unit that is useless to me after spending $100. Unacceptable.
