Awful experience. Do not send anything to this repair facility. It took over 2 months for my camera to be returned to me, all the while with extremely slow responses (several days to respond) to my emails and phone calls, and then to discover that the camera had not even been repaired when I finally received it back. I've attempted to reach out to them several times about the incomplete repairs and have yet to receive a single reply back from them. Do not trust this group to do good work or to treat you respectfully as a customer.

slow repair service... for professional video cameras you would anticipate fast service... but so far 15 days since it arrived at their office... no word how soon it would be finished.. it took more than a week to acknowledge receipt.. simple 4k upgrade to FS700 video camera-- it should have been done when purchasing camera new.. but costs $400+ not bad enough camera is retailing at 50% of my cost 3 years ago.. damn..

Nearly a month After being promised that a simple upgrade would take 7-10 business days, I am still waiting for these clowns to service my camera. The worst part about it is that there is no way of getting in touch with anyone. Avoid this company at all costs.

BUYER BEWARE: I was a 10+ year Canon user until I decided to swap to Sony for the PXW-FS7. Sony sent me a camera with a manufacturer error, several specs of dust on the inside of the camera sensor. I spent about a week on the phone asking for a replacement camera while they fixed it or at least covered shipping to send the camera back for the service under warranty. Both were denied, and I was forced to pay 150+ dollars to send the camera to Teaneck to fix a problem that was the fault of the manufacturer. I thought this was all of the stress that I would run into but it was far from finished. Calling Teaneck NJ was the real headache. The REPAIR HEADQUARTERS of Sony for professional video camcorders does not have any representatives that will answer your calls. You can only leave emails or voicemails. I was told that I would have one to two business days of waiting before a professional would call me and let me know what would be done to my camera and how much longer I would need to wait. I am now over 2 weeks waiting on a response to an initial diagnosis on the camera. I have left 4+ voicemails and emails, none of which have been responded. This is a warning to companies or camera operators looking to switch to Sony. It has now been over 4 weeks to get an initial diagnosis. I have turned down work, or needed to rent a new camera on jobs costing me several thousand dollars due to Sony's lack of support and false timelines. I've never encountered a company that is so unwilling to help customers buying their top shelf line of cameras. The FS7 will be my first and final Sony product.

I went to buy a 4K TV and there was a deal stating free PS4 with 4K TVs and so when I was ready to purchase it the "Manager" they wouldn't honor it or accommodate me . I was ready to purchase on the spot but it was easier for her to see me and my family walk out, she smiled a big smile and said goodbye. I guess a lot of people must be spending $2,000 on the spot. Maybe Sony should re evaluate their store policies and the people that implement them.
