They did a complete renovation of the theater. Looks good, seating is very comfy. Did not like the fee to order tickets online. Marcus theater's rewards program doesn't charge a fee. The online registration for the rewards program isn't great. I didn't get an email confirmation, nor did I get my rewards number. Very confusing. Once at the theater they looked me up by my name and found me, but it shouldn't be that confusing. The staff wasn't sure how to handle it either other than looking me up by my name. They need better staff training.

Wow what a theater! Great seats, electric oversized lazyboy style. The sound was terrific. Of course they had the normal popcorn, candy, and pop but they also had a fire style pizza oven and a bar. The seating is assigned, which i do like, and you can purchase online ahead of time.

I had the pleasure of visiting this theater for a screening Thor Ragnarok in December 2017. The first thing I noticed was that the theater was clearly dated. It reminded me of he Hopkins “cheap theater” I would go to with high school friends 15 years ago. However, once I was greeted by a smiling face at the cash register and a friendly “Welcome to Emagine!” (by the manager - Chris I believe) I knew I was in for a good experience. My friend and I ordered the mini-donuts at the staff’s recommendation, and they were just like the state fair! Loaded up with concessions, we really enjoyed our movie. Now, let’s be real. This is a dated facility. VERY dated. However, when I asked Chris about it after our movie was over, he enthusiastically told us about the upcoming renovations, and that we would have to keep coming back to check it out. In my opinion, everyone working there must be a saint! It’s not a place that I would want to spend much time - in it’s current state. (It’s not at all bad in the dark of a movie though!) However, they are making the most of it, and I hope the owners get them their much anticipated remodel very soon! If you put that team in a shiny new facility, this would be the “Jewel of Waconia!” (You can use that quote for free.)

I love the remodeled theaters with recliner seats! The staff members are friendly and helpful, and their facilities are always clean. This is one of our favorite places to see movies!

They wanted $7 for a glass of wine...really cheap wine ( barefoot,crane,etc). New theater updates are nice,but theater is small. Less seats now,due to new recliner chairs...WARNING go early to avoid sellout of seats!
