Embassy of Romania

Positive experience at the Embassy of Romania in Washington DC. The service was how needing to be and the staff was very helpful and explained all the new procedural changes. I don't know them and don’t work for them or have any connections, so the review is based on my personal experience. I appreciated the online appointment scheduling and the paperwork review ahead of time. This ensure that no one doesn’t travel and will be turned around for missing documents, sometimes a long distance. The entirely visit was around 30 minutes. Keep going the good work.

The rudeness and the arrogance i got from the staff at the consular services office was unbelievable. Its a shame for the Romanian government to have such people working in that embassy

Very pleased with my experience this morning. All the ladies were extremely helpful and pleasant. And no, I don't work for them or have any connections, so this review is fully based on my personal experience. I had to get a lot of services done, but not only was I done way earlier than expected, but they were very helpful in explaining what needed to happen and guide me through the process. Keep up the good work, you made me so proud to be Romanian.

On a day when the office is open (or at least according to the schedule posted on their website), nobody is answering the phone, nor do they have an answering machine. Really? This is 2018, in the USA!! We are not in communist Romania any more. Very disappointed. I called multiple times, with no luck. You need to step up your game, Romanian Embassy!!

Simply THE BEST!!! I am writing this review to recognize the outstanding service provided to me to obtaining my Romanian/European passport. What a professional office...online tools and a team of VERY courteous folks. I never leave feedbacks, but in this case, I had to. Job Well Done!
