The students do excellent work! The wait time is no different than waiting at a hair salon. Everyone is courteous and professional! I have been going to Empire (Chestnut Street, Franklin Mills and Springfield location) for over 10 years. You can find better quality or prices!

it's a school, people... AND you are paying $5 for a relatively decent style... oh did i say, it's a school...??? oh yes i did. so expect your style to take a little bit of time. if you're looking for speed, there's a shop around the corner that probably charges $55. they'd be glad to take your money.

I mean, it's a school, so yes, it's going to take a couple hours because the people giving you your haircut are still learning how. But the stylist I got (Danielle Donnelly) was patient and listened to what I was trying to do with my hair, and it came out very well, for very cheap. So if you need your hair done quickly, don't go here, if you want your hair done cheaply, then this place is awesome, you just need to be a little patient, and willing to describe what you want.
