Eye Health Vision Centers, Middletown

A family member needed to be seen by an eye doctor today for a very common eye condition that would have taken about 2 seconds to diagnose and they wouldn't work with her in terms of giving her an appointment at a time that worked for her. In addition, the glasses they recently made for me were completely wrong - wrong prescription and exactly the type that I said I didn't want. It has now been at least 2 weeks since I sent them back to be replaced and no word yet that they're ready to be picked up. Would not recommend.

Beyond annoyed. I show up for an appointment that was made only to be told that I'm not in their system. They can't give me said appointment because the doctor was soon leaving for the day. Not only did the woman repeat when my appointment was,over the phone several times, but she also took down my insurance information. If the patient broke an appointment on such notice, we would be charged, so how is it fair that the patient can be inconvenienced and not get any form of payment??? So my having to get my infant a babysitter and to be told this once I walked through the door is ridiculous. Was asked if I wanted to reschedule, I laughed saying I will not return, I am definitely go elsewhere now. Terrible way to run a business I'm never returning and I suggest you don't bother either.

People working at front desk are courteous and friendly. The doctors and service is excellent.

I work out of town and their hours make it difficult for me to even pick up my contact lenses because they don't have any weekend hours and are only open till 6:30 pm a couple nights a week. If you work locally they would probably be just fine.
