Fun place with good food and wide drink selection. The location on the St John's River provides excellent views of the water and the city. The food is very good. We absolutely love the Reuben spring rolls and always get them as an appetizer. The burgers are tasty, as is the fish and chips, and I would strongly recommend the shepherd,s pie. the latter is quite unconventional as it is the typical shepherd's pie components served inside a puff pastry (see picture - sorry not very good image).

I’ll start by saying that the food was very good. Everything else was pretty much a train wreck. We got there and asked to sit by the water. I was told I would have to wait 15 minutes but I could sit at the bar and would receive a text when it was ready. We waited at the bar for well over 30 minutes and I finally went to check on the wait. I was told by the hostess that she had texted us 10 minutes prior but would go ahead and seat us now. I let her know that I had never received a text and she confirmed that she had sent one to the wrong number. No worries, then she takes me to a table on the patio away from the water. At that point we had waited all this time to sit by the water. She said no problem just give me a minute and I’ll bus a table for you. 10 minutes later we had a seat. And then waited 20 minutes longer for a server that never came. I went back to the hostess and asked if she could find our server, she asked if I was serious and apologized and Said she would send them my way. I sat back down, another 10 minutes passed and I finally waived a server down. He said he would take care of us but didn’t realize that we needed any service because we already had drinks. Yes we did because we waited at the bar for 45 minutes for a table. He was friendly but didn’t make much of a big deal out things. We got our food it was great I won’t lie. But then when it was time for the check it was 20 more minutes until we could leave. All in all we were there from 12:45 until after 2pm for a quick lunch and missed part of the concert we were here in town to see. The food was great but the service was maybe the worst I’ve ever had. Not due to anyone being rude or anything but more so unorganized and unapologetic about it .

Great food. Generous portions. Kilts on the staff. Plaid skirts. Best potato soup in the world! Wings hot and fresh. Meaty. Also had the chicken pot pie. Wow was it good. Fabulous view of the river. Only complaint is the bar stools. Way too hard. Will return to this bar when I am in the area. Highly recommend

Good food but average service. The Scotch egg was tastey and more substantial than expected. You can share one as an appetizer. We had the fish & chips & shepherds pie. Both were pretty good & we'd order them again. Four Guinness drafts plus two entrees and the appetizer came to about $70 plus tip.

Been going here awhile and just tried the Irish tacos. Made from crispy potato slices. They absolutely rock! crisp yummy potato "tacos". Also love the corn beef Reuben rolls which I've had often. Also i always enjoy the river view from the patio.
