Meehan's Irish Pub & Seafood House

Cute place across from the water. But, the Ruben which was good, on marbled rye was made with processed corned beef. No Irish pub should serve processed anything. The fries were not hot when served. They were average. Good fries are not that difficult. The fellow next to us reported that the Sheppard's pie was good. The burgers were large, looked good. They do not make blended margaritas or anything. The prices were reasonable.

We sat on the patio in a beautiful sunny day listening to the music around us the stone wall surrounding the courtyard and wonderful Stone fireplaces are table. The drinks had a name like the Blue Parrot and the food was very good. The wait staff was exceptional and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food I highly recommend it if you happen to be walking down through old town St Augustine looking for a good place to eat. Love this place. Everything they have is delicious. Best ruben and bloody Mary I've ever had. Me and my wife come here every time we're in St. Augustine. They serve food late too, which is great if you go on the haunted pub crawl which ends here. I definitely recommend Meehan's to anyone who likes good food, good drink and good times. Also, be sure to check out their whiskey list. It'll blow your mind!

This is a two-story "house" from the early 1900s (maybe even earlier) that has plenty of seating for many patrons. The outside bar is in the back garden and allows space for many bar hoppers. The food is delicious and varied. The prices are reasonable and the staff are kind.

Had the fish and chips. Tasted really good but was a bit oily. My fiance had the Shepard pie and he loved it but portion was a bit small. The outside patio area was geared more towards a beachy feel and had different drinks then inside. But if you are looking for a cool Irish pub/restaurant then this is a great place. Or if you just want to chill and enjoy historic st. augustines views then hang outside and have some drinks and appetizers.
