If I could rate this agency a ZERO I would. This agency is the most disgusting company I have EVER come in contact with. I have a close friend that has received services from them for years. After the death of both parents they continued to take advantage of him.... by sending nurses that can't perform the basic necessities. They continue to send back nurses that have been reported for doing things that could jeopardize his quality of life. When you discuss your concerns not only do they not listen, they make threats to impact your care plan if you don't shut up and stop complaining. The Director, Diane, has now twice, called and made requests to make changes to doctors/hospital orders without the patient's knowledge because they do not have the nurses capable to provide the level of care required. DO NOT HIRE THIS AGENCY. YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF ALONE.

On the darkest day in the lives of our family, we desperately needed a nurse to come to our home to help us because the hospice company we had hired was not doing their job. We were referred to Firstat and Diane and her team were there within a couple of hours. They listened to us, made their assessment, and helped us with things that the previous three hospice nurses hadn't even touched on. Their knowledge and compassion were simply amazing and we would have been lost without them. If it were possible to give them more than 5 stars, we would. We highly recommend them if you ever have nursing needs.
