Fitworks - Norwood

The location is alright and the prices are cheap. BUT when it comes to canceling, best of luck to you. I canceled my membership in December and still have been charged for personal training for the past 4 months. I have called this location, their outsourced billing company, and corporate offices to no avail. If you want a gym who you will be paying even after you leave, then this is your place to go

Tanning bed is something available to add to your contract. I paid for it every month but because they didn’t pay for the permit to use and keep up the inspections, it always said out of order. When I contacted management, I was told to turn it on and that it was fine to use but to turn it off when I was finished.....and basically told to keep it hush hush because he didn’t wanna get into trouble. Much of their fitness equipment was out of order and the place looked very run down. I dropped my contract and went to another gym.

Standard fitness facility with standard nautilus equipment; good condition. No swimming pool. Lockers for men and women and showers. Staff could be more personable.

Noooooooooooo don't do it! Please don't do it! Don't say you weren't warned! I've had nothing but bad experiences since I enrolled. You can't get out of the contract if you're not satisfied and God forbid, if you don't pay by 12am on the due date its a $20 fee even if you pay later that day. There's a hidden maintenance fee $43 a year that I didn't know about so that's another $20 fee if money's not there. Customer service says talk to Fitworks....Fitworks says talk to customer service. The whole thing is a money hungry set up. I'm out of sooo much money and its turned my life upside down. All I wanted was to get healthy for $10 a month ( when it's more than $10/m) machines are broken, you can't clean them after ever use....which is disgusting. Throw the WHOLE COMPANY away ASAP!!!!!

Machines sometimes break, crowded after work, until April. Employees and regulars are the best. I feel comfortable working out here!
