Contains free weights area, basketball area and cardio area upstairs. Air conditioning is an issue, turning very humid during the summer time given the entire gym is inside a hangar. Best times to avoid would be 1130h to 1230h and 1600h to 1800h. Plenty of locker room space. Shame it’s not open on Sundays....

The hangar can get hot and busy but you can find open machines if you know what you want to do, or an alternative exercise. The programs are good and they offer a variety of different events and health support.

Extremely humid every time I’ve gone (poor circulation of air and no AC?) and oddly organized but I love having multiple gyms to chose from on wpafb. WF has a sauna which I really love and the indoor running track upstairs. Usually very packed after 4pm and isn’t 24/7.

Pretty large facility with a small indoor track for those rainy days. After 3pm can get pretty busy tho, I usually have hard time finding open weight benches or machines after work hours.

Great fitness center for being free to anyone who can access it. Temperatures inside are higher than what I like, but it's not bad if you work out in shorts and a tank top.
