Flatbush Food Co-op

Cute place to get a few things that the other grocery stores don't have. They occasionally have some good deals/coupons available. Though i wish it was more affordable and had a few more things that I haven't been able to find anywhere, it's a nice place to go. I like to compare prices from other places to this co-op and sometimes they have the best deals. When it's busy it's gets super crowded and the food can lean on the lower stocked side.

Fresh groceries and friendly staff. It is at times a bit TOO cold in there. But they have a great variety of products. On some days they have delicious soups and food.

I have been a member for many years and have found consistency in the high quality of their products. There is a great variety to choose from and the staff and management are polite helpful and knowledgeable concerning every aspect of the store. On many occasions the manager would order a specific product that i requested that was not in the store. The only reason i gave 4 stars is because some items are priced much higher than the identical item is priced in other organic venues and personally i do not feel there is any legutimate reason for this

The prices could go down a little but on the whole the people who work there are usually helpful and kind. The produce is good except the grapes are seedless. The soups are outstanding. You can sample them when you ask for sample cups. The sweets are good and the chicken tastes good. I did not get sick from their grass fed beef or free range eggs. They're good.They have environmentally safe products. I even bought the piece of bee cone for my kids. They love it but it's expensive. Just stop by when you have time and see what they offer. It will take a while to see everything. The products are good for different needs. Its very clean and organized.

Good coop with lots of options for healthy food. There are many vegan options too! The community is nice and it is overall a very good store. You also dont need to be a member to shop!
