If this is about Four Seasons Compassion for Life, this is not the actual address (it's 571 S Allen ROAD, Flat Rock). But still, gotta love Four Seasons. Doing awesome things in our community, and providing excellent care for hospice patients, regardless of their ability to pay.

My mother was moved here after a short period of in-home hospice care. She passed away after only two days, but the experience was so full of compassion and respect that it seemed fitting to let others know.
Everything about this facility is dedicated to the comfort of the patient and family. The facility is beautiful, quiet and spacious. Because their only focus is on comfort and respect at end of life, there are no invasive monitors, beeping digital displays and continuous visits by specialists like you'd get in a hospital - just a compassionate and superbly trained staff and a host of volunteers who are there the moment you need them and quietly not there at the inevitable moments of private grief one experiences when bedside with a loved one.
I was moved to write this review when just five days after my mom passed away, I received a personal card from the staff that simply stated -- "Thank you for the honor of allowing Four Seasons to serve your loved one recently". One really doesn't know too much about hospice until it's needed, but I can only hope that hospices nationwide are as well run and full of compassionate professionals as this one.

I am a RN that has accompanied pts. for admission to Hospice, through Home Health referrals in the past, when I worked as a Home Health nurse.
I found the entire staff to be very supportive, caring and nurturing to ease the transition for both the patients and the families. The environment was spacious, cozy and lent space for families to "cope together" and talk, supporting each other....Truly a feeling of an "away from home"- home, and ability to stay at their loved ones bedside, at all times, if desired.. The pts. rooms had beds for family members to sleep- and a kitchen to provide for snacks, food, etc. I was very proud that Hendersonville has a facility that really cares and goes the "extra mile"- to provide the best possible care during what can be, the most trying- difficult times. I actually wanted to work there due to seeing and feeling the compassion; but at the time, but there were no openings. I have just recently learned of a neighbor that has been referred to the Elizabeth House, which, thus has prompted this letter.
I am certain that the quality of care has remained such that I remember, and has only exceeded at the present time in providing and delivering supportive, nurturing care for those in the Elizabeth House.
Sincerely,
Karen Vanderwerf
