Franklin County Municipal Court

Organized and well run court system. Everyone that we encountered was polite and helpful. The 2 ladies that were selling doughnuts and coffee from their cart were wonderful. It made my day to see such delightful people. Their words of encouragement made a stressful situation better for all. Every court system needs people like this. It’s sometimes the small things that make a huge difference. Hamilton country court systems in Cincinnatti could learn a lot from Franklin county.

Its always so busy lol outside of that thats tha only reason i have to doc it well n plus noone likes to be here nehow lmao make tha beat of it

I wish the court room for trial said to check in. I walked in and sat down for 25 minutes before realizing I was supposed to check in. Wouldn't want to end up with a false warrant in my records.... my case went well fortunately on my behalf. It was unpleasant to see two inmates for petty theft, meanwhile a guy came in freely with assualt charges for hitting a woman. I don't know the circumstances, but I will say the judge wasn't the only one judging... All the CPD and OSHP police officers in my room looked like jerks. My sheriff didn't show up. Bathrooms are not very nice here. Elevators are mediocre. Stair well is kinda sketchy. The building will be do for a remodel soon I would say.

Power went out while waiting for friends hearing. Everything was put on hold or cancelled. There were people stuck in the stairwell and the fire department was there to get them out. Some surrounding busynesses had power and others did not. Was a total mess. I'm sure it wasn't their faults but inconvenient non the less.
